Lord Jesus Christ, who went before us as our example, show us the things in us that must be discarded and die, that we would be emboldened to lay them down and receive them back to us resurrected in a new form, made fruitful for your kingdom, through you who ascended to the Father and Holy Spirit in glory. Are there things the Spirit is inviting you to let die? Habits or ways of wrongly meeting your needs? Distorted beliefs about yourself or the world? What do you need to let them go?
