Wonderful counselor, who guides us in perfect wisdom, teach us to let go of the urge to prove something through our goodness, that we would instead trust in your love and the love of those who care for us to forgive, embrace, and celebrate us as friends, through Christ our brother, who created us in the overflow of perfect love for you and the Father and the joy of your great union in eternity. Amen.
‘For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things, and I regard them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law but one that comes through faith in Christ, the righteousness from God based on faith.’ – Phil. 3:8
