Great and awesome God, whose ways are higher than our ways, let us not expect that you will perform as we desire or for our pleasure, but may we be humble, trusting in your wisdom to do what is truly good for your people, through Jesus our savior, who showed us your great love and sat down at your right hand in the Holy Spirit in glory.
