A Collect to Not be Distracted by Earthly Things

Sower of the word, who spreads your wisdom generously to all the world, keep us from being choked by the cares of this world, that we would not be so distracted by things that do not last that we fail to engage with the lasting treasures that you have prepared for us to enjoy both here and in the last days, through Jesus Christ our Lord, who reigns from heaven with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever.
