Almighty God, who sees all the activities of humanity from your throne above, keep us from condemning the world and give us hearts that desire the redemption of all, that we would value people as you do, desiring that each would be willing to enter into your kingdom and live as your people together, through Jesus Christ our Lord, who reigns in love and joy with you and the Holy Spirit. Amen. “For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life. Indeed, God did not send the Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.” – John 3:16-17 Are there people who I condemn? Anyone that stirs up contempt in me? Can I envision them repenting and seeking Jesus, truly desiring to accept the Lord’s forgiveness and live by God’s ways? Is there anything I need from God to have compassion for them as God does?
