Lord Jesus, our rabbi without peer and in whom there is boundless understanding, teach us to live and be at peace with the presence of evil among us, that we would not be endlessly frustrated or drawn astray by the weeds we must endure, but would learn and grow from even the trouble that you allow in our lives, through you who endured great suffering but was exalted on high with the Father and Holy Spirit. Amen. ‘Let both of them grow together until the harvest; and at harvest time I will tell the reapers, Collect the weeds first and bind them in bundles to be burned, but gather the wheat into my barn.’ – Matthew 13:30
