God of the miraculous, who is not bound to the laws of this world you created, you sometimes bring us into situations and circumstances that we never thought possible. Give us faith to step out into these places we fear we will sink, trusting that your power and love will sustain us, through Jesus Christ our Lord, who reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen. ‘ Peter answered him, “Lord, if it is you, command me to come to you on the water.” He said, “Come.” So Peter got out of the boat, started walking on the water, and came toward Jesus.’ – Matthew 14:28-29 Are there places God is inviting you into that make you anxious or afraid? If so, where does it feel like God is? If not, what else might God be doing right now in you?
