Lord Jesus, who is seated in glory and interceding on our behalf, you are gracious in your patience and understanding of our foolish desires. Grant that we would learn to be humble and compassionate as you are, that we would find contentment and joy in whatever position you place us and know that your love for us will sustain us now and forever, through you who stooped down for us and was raised to the Father in the power of the Holy Spirit.
