Lord Jesus, our teacher and example, grant us the same steadfastness that you showed, that we would face the pains and challenges of this life, being willing to suffer and struggle, as so receive the promise of undying life, through you who suffered for our sake and now lives and reigns forever with the Father and Holy Spirit in glory.
