Almighty God, who reserves for us treasures of greater value than we know, we repent of our attachment to money and fame and the esteem of others. Forgive us for chasing after things that do not ultimately have meaning, and draw our hearts to love you and the things that you love, which will yet last forever, through Jesus Christ our Lord, who with you and the Holy Spirit are and have been and will be the source of all good gifts.
