Heavenly Father, who was and is and is to come, remind us of the transient nature of earthly things, that we would not seek them for our salvation but seek your goodness and your ways and treasure such things in our heart, through Jesus your son, who reigns with you and the Holy Spirit in perfect glory, world without end.
