God of grace and love, who gave of yourself for our sake, grant that we would receive the love you offer, that we would be filled with the assurance that you care about us and that we are treasured in your sight and would be transformed by the love that you pour into our hearts, through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, who lives with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen. “For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life.” – John 3:16 What keeps you from receiving the love of God fully? Busyness? Anxiety? Being convinced of your own unworthiness? Pride? Ask God to help you see what stops you from receiving that love and what you can do with him to accept it more completely.
