Heavenly father, who is generous with the both foolish and the wise, keep us from bitterness and resentment, that we would not harbor anger in our souls and so burn ourselves but trust in your justice and goodness to all, through Christ our brother, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit in perfect joy forever and ever.
