A Collect to Understand the Christ

Teacher and Lord, who calmed the storm by your own power and authority, we confess that we do not fully grasp who you are. Draw us into your circle and confidence, and grant us patience to go with you wherever you lead, that we might grow more and more to see you clearly and understand the rabbi we follow, through you who ascended to the Father and Holy Spirit in glory.
