A Collect to Trust that God is Always Close

Gracious God, who draws near to those who draw near to you, keep us from superstition and magical thinking, that rather than believing we can force you to appear by doing the right thing, we would trust that you are always at hand in your great love, working for our good, through Jesus Christ our Lord, who is alive and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, world without end.
