Gracious Father, who has known the end from the beginning and sees beyond the immediate, help us to see the good, the eternal, and the spiritual in the midst of trouble, that we would recognize where you are at work and where you sustain us always that we might not be crushed by the troubles of the day, through your beloved son Jesus who reigns with you and the Holy Spirit in joy forever and ever. Amen.
‘We are treated as impostors, and yet are true; as unknown, and yet are well known; as dying, and see–we are alive; as punished, and yet not killed; as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing everything.’ – 2 Cor. 6:8-10
