A Collect to Receive Beyond our Understanding

Lord of heaven and earth, who is beyond our understanding, we come to you with limited frames for understanding you and your ways. Keep us from holding rigidly to our understanding, and give us grace to receive even that which is beyond us, so that we might not miss the gifts you offer – particularly that of yourself, through Jesus Christ our Lord, who reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, now and forever.
