A Collect to Prepare our Hearts

King of all nations, who rides forth on the wings of the clouds, may we devote ourselves to preparing your way as you enter into our lives and hearts, that nothing in us would hinder your coming and we would receive you as faithful and ready servants of your kind and bountiful kingdom, through you who reigns from heaven with the Father and Holy Spirit in glory forever.
