Gracious Father, whose love is boundless and whose desire is for our good, grant that we would open our hearts to those who speak the truth to us, that we would receive the good that they offer – even if it is painful – and so be able to cast aside that which hinders us and grow more into the image of your beloved Son, through whom we stand before your throne in the counsel of the Holy Spirit.
