A Collect to Offer Forgiveness

Compassionate Father, who does not hold against us our faults, you have placed upon us your authority as messengers of your goodness. Show us where your message of forgiveness is needed, and give us the words and actions to offer that compassion in ways that your needy creation can receive, through Jesus Christ, whose sacrifice enables and demonstrates the length to which your forgiveness goes.
