Blessed Jesus, who showed us the greatest love, let love be our greatest virtue and motivation, that we would not trust in knowledge or power or good deeds or even faith if they are not done in love for one another and for all the world. This we ask through you who lives forever in perfect union with the Father and Holy Spirit in glory. Amen.
‘If I speak in the tongues of humans and of angels but do not have love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. And if I have prophetic powers and understand all mysteries and all knowledge and if I have all faith so as to remove mountains but do not have love, I am nothing.
