Almighty God, who knows the weakness of our hearts, we thank you for your mercy and for understanding our limitations. Draw us continually forward into holiness that we would not require you to make allowances for our stubbornness and sin, but we would come increasingly to live as you intended in perfect love and holiness, through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, by whom we approach your throne in the ministry of the Holy Spirit.
