God of earth and heaven, whose glory is everlasting, show us what works you have set before us that would bring you glory, that we might continue the work of your Son, who glorified you through the works he did and gave us the honor of furthering those works here until you come again, through Jesus your Son, who glorifies you and the Holy Spirit and receives glory in turn.
