A Collect to Find the Good in Our Hearts

Almighty God, who sees into the hearts of us all, peer beneath our disappointment, our bitterness, our frustration, and our grief to find the good that still fuels our hearts, and call out that spark that it could be tended into a holy flame, alive in virtue and burning the chaff of our sin away, through Jesus Christ our Lord, who alone is perfect and holy and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit forever.
