A Collect to Find Hope in Struggle

Lord Jesus Christ, who knows our sorrows, let us not fall prey to the belief that we will escape trials and struggles, but let us remember that your suffering was redeemed for our sake, that we might not despair but would hold on to hope that redemption can come, through you who was crucified, died, and buried but was raised to the right hand of the Father in the Holy Spirit.
