A Collect to Build Up and Restore

Heavenly Father, who cares for the weak and who will not break a bruised reed, teach us to build up what is broken and shore up the fragile and weak, to restore the glory that you have placed in the hearts of each person and have manifested through your work and the work of your creations, that we would be creators and nurturers like our Father, who desires to see beauty in all things, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. ‘ They shall build up the ancient ruins, they shall raise up the former devastations; they shall repair the ruined cities, the devastations of many generations.’ – Isa. 61:4
