Heavenly Father, who desires that all might know truth that would bring us life, grant us willing hearts to receive your messages, that we would not ignore, reject, or even abuse those you send to speak to us, but would accept what you proclaim, even if we do not wish to hear, and so take in words that ultimately will grant us life, through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.
