Lord Jesus, who went willingly into suffering for the joy and good that you saw beyond, make us steadfast also when we must face trials, that we would face them as you did, with trust in the work that the Father will do through them and a vision of the joy that is yet to come, through you who was exalted to the right hand of the Father with the Holy Spirit in glory.
