A Collect to be Ready for Harvest

Lord of the harvest, who send out your workers to gather the fruit, help us to be attentive to the work you are doing, that we might see when the time is ripe and we would gather in the good fruit that you have been developing in us and among us, through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives with you and the Holy Spirit now and forevermore. Amen. “The earth produces of itself, first the stalk, then the head, then the full grain in the head. But when the grain is ripe, at once he goes in with his sickle, because the harvest has come.” – Mark 4:28-29
