A Collect to be Free from Fear of Death

Lord Jesus Christ, who holds the keys to death and Hades, you have freed us from the power of death through your sacrifice on the cross. Help us to let go of our fears of death that we might serve you and your children in freedom, through you who with the Father and Holy Spirit loved us to the end. Amen. ‘Since, therefore, the children share flesh and blood, he himself likewise shared the same things, so that through death he might destroy the one who has the power of death, that is, the devil, and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by the fear of death.’ – Hebrews 2:14-15
