A Collect to Be Ever Awed by God

Almighty God, who fashioned the entirety of the universe with a word, may we ever be awed by the immensity of your power, that we would remain humble before you and grateful for what you give to us, through Jesus Christ our Lord, who stepped into our frame in humility but then was exalted to side at your right hand in glory with the Holy Spirit. Amen. ‘It is he who sits above the circle of the earth, and its inhabitants are like grasshoppers; who stretches out the heavens like a curtain, and spreads them like a tent to live in.’ – Isa. 40:22
