Generous God, who has given great gifts to your children, keep us from clinging and becoming attached to money, that wealth and power would not compete with our devotion to you and so disdain the good that you offer us, through Jesus our brother, who showed us how to live and ascended to you and the Holy Spirit to reign in glory forever.
