Gracious Father, who is patient and persistent with our foolish hearts, grant us the willingness to answer your call, that we would not blithely ignore your invitations but heed your wisdom, setting aside that which pulls us away from you and acknowledge the goodness that you offer to your children, through Jesus our brother, who reigns with you and the Holy Spirit in glory forever.
