Lord Jesus, who was scorned by those you loved, let us not be surprised that there are those who will not accept us regardless of what we do, that we would not strive to please everyone but would trust in your love and the goodness of your ways, through you who is alive and reigns from heaven with the Father and Holy Spirit forever.
