A Collect for Reconciliation

Lord Jesus Christ, the bridge between divine and created, teach us to break down the walls that separate us and keep us hostile to one another, that we would embrace your spirit of reconciliation and fulfill your work of bringing harmony and peace to the world you dearly love, through you who gave yourself for us and was resurrected to the Father in the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen. ‘For he is our peace; in his flesh he has made both groups into one and has broken down the dividing wall, that is, the hostility between us.’ – Eph. 2:14
