A Collect for Patience in Growth

Wise Creator, who understands our hearts, we long for the sin in our souls to be uprooted and destroyed, but you know how best we will grow and be made holy. Give us patience while you work, that we would endure the difficulties of the process and gradually find ourselves bearing fruit for your kingdom, through Jesus Christ our Lord, who endured the cross and sat down at your right hand in the power of the Holy Spirit.
