Lord Jesus, author of life, holy and righteous, have mercy on us who reject you and turn to our own plans for deliverance and prosperity. Grant us the opportunity to turn to you again and again when we fail, that we might learn that you are our hope and our life and trust in you more and more, through you whom the Father raised to life through the power of the Holy Spirit.
