A Collect for Humility and Willingness to Give Place to Others

Lord Jesus, who will come again at the appropriate time, grant us true humility, that we would be willing to step aside from whatever situation in favor of those whom you have chosen or who are better suited for your call, and your redemptive work in this world might flourish ever more greatly, through you who freely gave up your glory and was exalted to the highest heaven with the Father and Holy Spirit.
