A Collect for Forgiveness for our Rejection of Christ

Lord Jesus, to whom we belong as your creations and children, forgive us for our failure to accept you and for the ways we reject and malign you in our pride and foolishness. Be patient and call to us again, that we might learn to accept you more and more into our hearts and lives, through you who gave yourself for us and sat down at the right hand of the Father in the Holy Spirit.
