Almighty God, who alone knows how to enact true justice with great mercy, turn our hearts away from seeking vengeance when we feel wronged, that we would entrust ourselves to your wisdom and judgment, knowing that you will right all wrongs at the proper time, through Jesus Christ our Lord, who did not seek revenge, but gave himself over to you and the Holy Spirit and was exalted back into perfect union. Amen. ‘ Then the Pharisees went and plotted to entrap him in what he said.’ – Matthew 22:15 Are there those who frustrate or exasperate you to the point of wanting to lash out or entrap them? How difficult would it be to entrust them to God’s justice? What would you need from the Lord to leave them in His hands? Can you talk with Him and ask for those things?
