A Collect for Courage in Asking

Compassionate one, who cares for all of your creation, give us courage to approach you and ask for our needs filled with confidence that you will act for our good, that we would receive good things from your hand and be nourished by your mercy, through Jesus Christ our Lord, who shared in our struggles and returned to you and the Holy Spirit to interceded for us. Amen. ‘Then one of the leaders of the synagogue named Jairus came and, when he saw him, fell at his feet and begged him repeatedly, “My little daughter is at the point of death.
