A Collect for Compassion in our Authority

Compassionate Father, who offered for us a way to be free from our sins, help us to be merciful to and understanding toward our fellow Christians, that we would remember the authority you have given us and exercise it in a way that leads to love whenever possible, through Jesus Christ our Lord, who reigns with you and the Holy Spirit in eternal light.
