Our Father in Heaven, grant us patience and understanding when we face trials, trusting that you can use the pains and struggles of our lives to bring about virtue and that we are at all times sustained by your love and presence, through Jesus, your son, who reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, world without end.
