Almighty God, source of all power, grant us the desire and capacity to do good to those in need, that we might free those oppressed by the devil and by earthly powers and bring life and healing to those whom you love and so follow in the footsteps of your beloved son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.
