Almighty God, who bears great power on behalf of the vulnerable, turn our eyes to you for our salvation from all that threatens and oppresses, that we would trust in your goodness and rescue at the right time and would await with patience and anticipation the coming of the day of the Lord, through Christ our redeemer, who reigns with you and the Holy Spirit in majesty and glory forever and ever.
