Heavenly Father, creator and lover of all that is good, let us not put our security in religion or heritage or any external thing, so that we would not be distracted from your call to offer pure hearts full of mercy and justice and truth, through Jesus our teacher, who showed us the way to you and ascended into your presence in the Holy Spirit.
