Almighty God, ruler of all things and king over all creation, let us not believe ourselves deserving of more than we ought, that we would escape arrogance and the expectation of privileges and in humility remember that all things are a gift from you, through Christ our savior, who died that we might live and now reigns with you and the Holy Spirit in glory and majesty in heaven.
