God of justice, who weighs the value of all that we do, help us to see and consider the consequences of our desires and actions in the world, that we would act with care and not fall under your just punishment but be blessed with comfort and joy in your eternal rest, through Christ our savior, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit in glory forever.
