Quiet Spirit, who whispers in the depths of our souls, speak to us of the great sacrifice of our brother, Jesus, that we would take in how his suffering was bound together with great love, and our hearts would be awed and grateful and stir us to respond in reverence and with lives worthy of such an offering, through him who died that we might live. Amen.
‘But he was wounded for our transgressions, crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the punishment that made us whole, and by his bruises we are healed.’ – Isa. 53:5
