Gracious brother Jesus, who sympathizes with our weaknesses, we thank you for being patient and waiting for us when we strive to catch up with you. Help us by your Holy Spirit to come quickly, gladdened by your presence and willingness to be with us, through you who showed us the way to the Father and now reigns with Him in the Holy Spirit forever and ever.
